From Prep to Perfection: Our Step-by-Step Exterior Painting Process

1. Thorough Pressure Washing
We begin by power washing the entire exterior of your home. This step is crucial because it removes built-in dirt, mold, mildew, cobwebs, and chalky old paint residue. Starting with a completely clean surface guarantees that the new paint will bond perfectly to your walls and won't peel or flake later.
2. Surface Prep & Trenching
Once the house is dry, we tackle the detailed prep work. We scrape away any remaining loose paint and repair hairline cracks in the stucco or siding. We also perform a step called "trenching"—pulling back a small layer of dirt or mulch around the base of your foundation so we can paint slightly below the grade line, ensuring no unpainted spots show later.
3. Masking & Property Protection
We treat your property like our own. Before any paint is applied, we carefully cover and protect everything that shouldn't get painted. This includes masking off your windows, light fixtures, and doors with plastic and tape, as well as using heavy drop cloths to protect your landscaping, shrubs, walkways, and driveway.
